Female touch for Besses Boys

Claire Mumford takes over the principal cornet chair at Besses Boys.

Besses Boys has announced the signing of Claire Mumford as their new Principal Cornet.

Debut

Claire joins following the demise of her previous band Stockport Brass (formerly the BT Band) where she played flugel horn. Claire made her debut with the band at the area contest.

Wealth of experience

MD James Holt told 4BR: "Claire brings with her a wealth of experience of championship section banding. I hope the band take this great opportunity to learn from such experience and this can only improve us as a unit."
