The Fairey Band will be teaming up with young performers of Bramhall School in the next few weeks for the fifth consecutive year.

Strong links

The band has strong liks with many schools in Stockport but has a particularly close link with Bramhall as Director of Music, Simon Stonehouse is a former player and conductor of Faireys.

In conjunction with the Fairey Band's 'Youth Outreach Programme', one of Bramhall schools many talented instrumentalists will be featuring in Fairey's concert performance later in the night (see 4BR classified for details).

Joining forces

William Morley will join forces with long serving Fairey's cornetist Brain Taylor in a duet for cornets.

Being a local lad, Will has been a fan of the Fairey Band since he first picked up a cornet at primary school and the up and coming star recently passed his grade 8 cornet with distinction.
