Tuba virtuoso Leslie Neish and conductor Jonathan Corry are to link up again this weekend for a further musical project.
Decade
Les and Jonathan have known each other for over 10 years from their days in the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain and latterly the Royal Northern College of Music.

This weekend Enfield Citadel Band, where Jonathan is now conductor are to perform a concert for the Salvation Army in Crewe, where Les will be featured as guest soloist.
Jonathan and Les are relishing the opportunity to work together again since their work at the National Youth Orchestra of Ireland course in December and various SA events around the country.

Stop off
It is the latest stop off from his world travels for Les after performing in recent months with Brass Band Battle Creek, Tubalate, Fodens Band as well as launching his comprehensive website www.tuba-artist.com
Ties
Jonathan told 4BR: "We are thrilled to have Les perform with us in Crewe. This latest link further strengthens the ties between Salvation Army bands and contesting bands, initially started by Enfield, who during the 1990s became the first Salvation Army Band to be featured in musical programmes with Black Dyke, Fodens and Faireys."
