Wantage 'Bag' a great

There is a new euphonium line up at Wantage ahead of their regional assault in Stevenage — including the great Lyndon Baglin.

The Wantage Band has announced that it has secured a new euphonium line-up for their appearance in the London & Southern Counties at Stevenage.

New signing signing Ian Brown is joined by euphonium legend Lyndon Baglin.

Lyndon played solo euphonium in the great CWS (Manchester) band who won their Area with 'Salute to Youth' when it
first appeared in 1962 — and went on to become National Champions.

Meanwhile, that immense experience is boosted by some youth too, with three players graduating from the B Band.

Jack Tinker and Sam Chapman come in on cornet and 11-year-old Daniel Willis joins the percussion section.
