The British Trombone Society has been delighted with the increase in numbers at recent events in Leeds and have announced a further workshop and to encourage trombone players from the Salvation Army as well as band enthusiasts from the Yorkshire area.
Castleford
The BTS Day will take place at Castleford Salvation Army, on Booth Street in the town on the 14th March.

Sharon McCallum will be there to advise on maintenance and repair and Bob Hughes, the President of the BTS, will be rehearsing and directing the massed trombone choir.
It is hoped that players from this workshop and the workshop in Leeds last month will come together to perform at the Black Dyke Arts Festival in Leeds Town Hall on 31st May.

Meanwhile on 22nd March from 9.30am The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama will host a BTS Day featuring Chris Thomas of the Cory Band, the Cory Band trombone quartet and the BBCNOW trombone section
Trombone choir
A massed trombone choir who will be conducted by President Bob Hughes, and in addition the RWCMD tutors have all offered to give delegates individual lessons if they book up on the course by 14th March.
