Diggle set for Whit Friday debut

The small village of Diggle is getting ready for its first appearance on the Whit Friday circuit this year.

4BR has been informed that plans are well advanced for the village of Diggle first ever Whit Friday Band Contest appearance.

First port of call

The village is only only a mile away from Dobcross and a mile and a half from Uppermill — if you are coming into Saddleworth from the east along the A62, it should be your first point of call on the most famous open air brass band contest in the world!

There is a generous prize money pot, great catering and its easy to park, so we hope to see as many people as possible on 5th JuneDiggle
