Kapitol announce York deal

Kapitol announces York Brass as principal sponsor of the ‘National’ for third consecutive year.

Kapitol Promotions Ltd has anounced that it has awarded the principal sponsorship of the National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain to York Brass, for the third consecutive year.

Positive impact

Speaking about the sponsorship agreement, Philip Morris of Kapitol, told 4BR: "Over the past three years, Kapitol has developed a close working relationship with York Brass, which has had a positive impact on the National Finals events.

"The sponsorship has enabled Kapitol to increase its grant aid to the eight regional committees and to add new and valuable events to the Harrogate Finals for bands in sections 1 – 4."

Philip added: "Last year, these included clinics and recitals, as well as a recital by the British Army Band. Kapitol Promotions is pleased to welcome York aboard again as principal sponsor."
