VSYBB help fire victims

Victoria's Youth join the bushfire appeal.

Victorian Youth Brass Band
 

The Victorian Bands’ League (VBL) are pleased to announce a Concert featuring the Victorian State Youth Brass Band (VSYBB), Guest Artist Geoffrey Payne and the WASABI Big Band.

All proceeds go to the Red Cross Victorian Bushfire Appeal.

When

The concert is to be held at 2.00pm Sunday 8 March at Cato Hall, Wesley College, 620 High St Rd, Glen Waverley.

Invitation

The Musical Director of VSYBB, Wally Pope, would like to extend an invitation to any players to join the VSYBB and be part of this concert.

Also welcome are any past members of the VSYBB.

Rehearsal

All players will be required to attend the rehearsal at Cato Hall commencing at 9.00am on 8 March, followed by the Concert at 2pm.

Ticket prices are $20 Adults, $10 Concession and $30 for a family ticket of 2 adults and 2 children.

Alder Valley Brass

June 19 • Bb bass player. We are an ambitious, busy and sociable 2nd section band (L&SC, National finalists 2023) with a varied blend of engagements, concerts and contests. We rehearse 8-10pm Mondays and Thursdays in Farnham, Surrey. Other enquiries welcome.


Chinnor Silver

June 17 • Our COMMUNITY BAND meet again on Monday (22nd) and we welcome players of all standards to join us for a relaxed,friendly rehearsal with Tea and cake and it’s all free.. Rehearsals are at 11am in our own bandroom playing with us does not effect your band.


Longridge Band

June 16 • Longridge Band invite applications for the positions of Flugel and Eb Bass.. We are a friendly and committed band that enjoys a great balance of concerts and contests throughout the year. A contribution to travel expenses are provided.
