Masterclasses set to help Burbage

Star players bring a bit of masterclass help to Burbage.

Burbage

Currently the players of Burbage Band (Buxton) are experiencing a series of masterclasses given by players from the very top of the movement.

Innovative programme

This innovative programme under soprano star Alan Wycherley's help is designed to inspire and educate our players to a higher level, which they hope will improve their playing all year round.

Landon masterclass

MD, Steve Critchlow told 4BR: "Recently the band played host Mark Landon, of the Fodens Band, who gave a two hour masterclass on percussion technique to the band's three percussionists. Mark's informal and friendly approach helped the players gain lots of useful tips to improve their playing and enjoyment of their instruments."

Further dates

Further dates will see the likes of Richard Marshall, David Thornton and Brett Baker come and pass their experience to members of the band.
