Peter Denton is the new man in charge at the Tintwistle Band.

The Tintwistle Band has announced the appointment of Peter Denton as their new Musical Director.

Experienced

Pete is an experienced Eb Bass/Tuba player having played for BTM, Northop, Point of Ayr, Pennine, Airedale Symphony Orchestra, Slaithwaite Philharmonic Orchestra and Woodstone Brass Quintet over the years, during which he experienced many prize winning performances.

Dave Barrow form the band told 4BR: "His conducting exerience incudes spells with Blaenavon Town, East Leeds Music Centre, Sellers International Youth Band and recently with YBS Concert Band.
