Carlton Main invite

Old players (and former players)are invited to help Carlton Main celebrate their 125th anniversary.

Former players (and really old players) who has been associated with the Carlton Main Frickley Colliery Band over the years are invited to join them in celebrating the bands 125th anniversary on Friday the 8th of May.

Celebrations

The celebrations will take place at the "Rogesthorpe Manor" Hotel close to South Elmsall. There will be plenty of entertainment and a chance to reminisce with friends that perhaps many haven't seen for a number of years.

Founder members

Ray Sykes told 4BR: "It would be great if as many older former players came and join us on the night. The band has enjoyed many great moments in its history and we think that getting together to celebrate it will make for a wonderful occassion. Any founder members get in free!"
