Whychcraft at Burbage

Soprano cornet legend to use his special kind of magic to help out Burbage Buxton Band.

n Whycherey

The Burbage Buxton Band in Derbyshire will be employing some 'Whychcraft' to help them gain contestng success throughout the coming year after announcing that soprano cornet legend Alan Wycherley has agreed to become the bands Musical Advisor.

Help

Alan will be helping to prepare the band for contests and concerts during the coming year.

Burbage hope Alan's input will help both their Senior and Junior bands and their will also be arranging to hold a series of
sectional master classes with top players to try and achieve this.

I have found the band a great mixture of youth and experience and they always seem willing to take on board musical suggestions4BR

Great mixture

Alan told 4BR: "I am delighted to be asked to work with the Burbage band in the coming year. Having done a small amount of work in the past few years with them I have found the band a great mixture of youth and experience and they always seem willing to take on board musical suggestions that have been passed on to myself by the many top conductors I have had the pleasure of playing under over the years."
