Grateful

The band are extremely grateful for this very generous funding. It has come at a crucial time for the band as they are representing Australia at the British Open contest in the UK in September.Dean Morley, President — Brisbane Excelsior

Brisbane Excelsior President, Dean Morley commented: "The band are extremely grateful for this very generous funding. It has come at a crucial time for the band as they are representing Australia at the British Open contest in the UK in September."

He continued: "The quality of the bands instruments affects the level of performance greatly so the ability to field decent instruments without detriment to the bands finances is essential and greatly appreciated."

Support

The grant shows the continued support received from the Queensland Government Gambling Community Benefit Fund following a previously successful grant in 2006.
