JMU take on the Presidents Men

JMU Brass Band to accompany quintet of top US Army soloists.

The James Madison University Brass Band, under the direction of Kevin Stees, are putting the final touches to their preperation as they get set to accompany a quintet of top soloists at the 2009 U.S. Army Tuba-Euphonium Conference in Washington, D.C.

Presidents Own

The soloists include Dean Miller of 'Pershing's Own' U.S. Army Band, Philip Eberly, of the U.S. Navy Band, Lauren Veronie of the U.S. Army Field Band, Wille Clark of the U.S. Air Force Band and Mark Thiele, of 'The President's Own' U.S. Marine Band.

...the band will perform works of Paul Lovatt- Cooper, Wiliam Rimmer and Philip Sparke's 'Letter from Home' written for the band's recent tour of England and Wales4BR
