The Longridge Band has announced more new signings.

Although the band lost their solo euphonium player Chris Larder in December due to his busy schedule, the position was quickly filled by Martin Bridges.

Positions filled

Martin was previously a member of Longridge until he went on to further his baritone playing at Leyland. He has accepted the position of solo Eephonium for the forthcoming contests.

New assistant principal

Longridge have also gained strength to their cornet section with the new signing of Chris Blaylock on assistant principal. Chris was principal cornet for Longridge for a number of years until having to leave due to work and family commitment.
