First task

Their first task is a joint one, to prepare the band for it's long overdue debut CD. Recording begins in February and will feature new works from both.

Exciting times ahead

Band spokesman David Frame told 4BR: "Everyone at Unison Kinneil is excited at the prospect of working with not one, but two, of Scotlands finest conductors.

"Access to their new compositions and arrangements will help develop the band and we see nothing other than a successful partnership evolving. We know them both very well and they know our strengths and weaknesses inside out. There are interestings times ahead."
