New Year, new start for Old Hall

John North is the new man at the helm at Old Hall Brass.

After a few uncertain months, Old Hall Brass has announced the appointment of John North as their new MD.

John has assisted the band over the Christmas period, and conducted a number of engagements. John is now preparing the band for the area contest at Blackpool on 1st March.

They are an enthusiastic, committed and talented group of musicians and I’m confident we will be able to work well togetherJohn North

Commenting on his new appointment, John North told 4BR: "Having conducted many bands all over the North of England during the last few months I particularly enjoyed the Christmas season with Old Hall. They are an enthusiastic, committed and talented group of musicians and I’m confident we will be able to work well together."

Potential

John added: "We have a couple of vacancies (see the 4br classified section for details) and I’m sure anyone who comes down for a blow will really enjoy the experience. There is so much potential, I see exciting times ahead."
