The newly crowned Scottish Open champions, Scottish Co-op Band has announced that Russell Gray has agreed to conduct them at the Scottish Championships in March next year.

Russell's first association with the band was in 2003 when he led them to victory in the inaugural Scottish Open Championship, whilst his most recent success was in June this year when, he led them to victory in the West Lothian Challenge.

Last year Russell led Co-op's rivals Whitburn to victory at the Regional Championship.
