"The best ever!", was the reported audience verdict on going home very happy after attending Wilsden Band's early Christmas Concert last Saturday night.
Full programme
The band provided a full programme of Christmas music, something old, something new, all of which was enjoyed by the large audience who turned out to see and hear one of Yorkshire's up and coming bands, despite the cold and freezing fog outside.
The Hall was suitably decorated for the festive event, including a backcloth of 'twinkling stars' with extra special lighting effects, donated and errected by a local company.
Family feature
The band's 2nd baritone Charlotte Hansen played two solo singing spots, accompanied on the piano by father Andy, with mother Amanda turning the pages. Younger brother Ben, sitting in the trombone section, made a very supportive 'cheer leader' for his sister.
As someone commented "...it all went like well oiled clockwork."
