Scottish Co-op Band has announced that former principal cornet player, Jim Hayes, will fill the band's principal cornet chair at the forthcoming Scottish Open Championship in Perth later this month.
Great boost
Jim's leadership in the front row will be seen as a great boost to the band who will be tackling the heavy demands of Kenneth Downie's test piece 'St. Magnus' for the contest.
