Brains needed!

Some brass band brains are needed for a new BBC2 series.

Battle of the Brains, the hit BBC2 quiz series is currently looking for teams of 7 quizzers to take part in its 'Battle of the Brains'.

Battle

Every show two teams will face each other in a tense and exciting battle of wits. The team captain chooses six of their friends to form their team, sending them into battle against an opponent’s team in a series of exciting one on one rounds.

Skill

Researcher Dan McGowan told 4BR: "It's down to the skill and judgement of the captain to cleverly assemble an intellectual fighting force to win the game. Teams will be challenged in a range of subjects, such as the Arts, Entertainment, History, Sport and Culture."

Keen and informed

Dan added: "If you have an existing quiz team who you think would like to be considered for the series, or would like to assemble a group of keen and informed colleagues, family or friends then we would like to speak to you further.

Film dates

"We will be filming between the dates of 17th-23rd of December, but the sooner you get your application back the better. We will be holding auditions throughout the UK, and if you get on the show we will sort out all travel and accommodation if required."

You can email Dan or battleofthebrains@shinelimited.com for more info and to request an application form or apply online at www.battleofthebrains.tv.
