Judges announced for North West Area

The North West Regional Championships have announced the men in the box for March next year.

The North West Regional Brass Bands Championships Committee has announced the teams of adjudicators for next year's North West Regional Championships, which are due to take place on Sunday 1st March at the Winter Gardens, Blackpool.

Adjudicators:

Championship Section: David Read
First Section: Colin Hardy
Second Section: Mal Brownbill
Third Section: Derek Broadbent
Fourth Section: C. Brian Buckley

Closing date

Bands should note that the closing date for entries is 10th January 2009 and not 17th as given on the Kapitol Promotions website. Entry forms will be sent out before the end of October.

The Regional Committee has also congratulated Lostock Hall Memorial on becoming Fourth Section Champion Band of Great Britain, Uppermill on their second place in the same section, and Wardle & District Anderson Brass on their second place in the Second Section at Harrogate.
