Euphonium artist Charley Brighton was featured recently in the Italian newspaper 'La Gazzetta Del Mezzogiorno' following his premiere of 'Masquerade' by Lorenzo Melissano.
Viva La Citta
After hearing the recording from the recital at St. Mary’s Slough, the composer published a full article in the 'Viva La Citta' section of the publication, together with photographs.
Charley told 4BR: "The music was a joy to play and rehearse, particularly considering it was his first work for the euphonium. We now have another new piece from the composer, ‘Centurion’ which we will premiere in February early next year."

Doing the Double
In November, Charley will feature a double recital with two different programmes, the first at lunchtime in St. Mary’s Slough, and the second at All Saints Church Wokingham in the evening. Both recitals will have premieres in their programmes.
Garry Hedley (euphonium) will join Charley as a guest in a duet at St. Mary’s and both recitals are free.
