Smithills a class act

The Smithills School Senior Band are set to be heard on Radio2 this Friday as part of composer Howard Goodhall's Class Acts.

This Friday evening, immediately following the Chris Evans Show and news headlines on BBC Radio2, Smithills School Senior Band under MD Chris Wormald are the feature of the first half of the latest programme in the Howard Goodall’s Class Acts radio series.

Ben Hur

The fourth programme in the series sees Smithills open and finish with the Guilford County School singers. Smithills can be heard performing music from the films 'Ben Hur' and 'Indiana Jones' in addition to the theme music to 'The Vicar of Dibley' composed by Howard Goodall himself and arranged by Chris Wormald.
