Carlton Main

4BR has been informed that Carlton Main have reluctantly announced that Janet Lewis has had to leave the band due to a prolonged illness and a recent operation.

Hopeful return

The band hope that the next few months will see an improvement in Janet's health and that she will soon be back on the banding scene. Janet has wished the band all the best for the future and particularly her replacement, Sam Fisher.

Sam comes with a fine pedigree and has fitted in very well into what is becoming a very stable and talented group of playersCMFC Band

Replacement

The band state they were thrilled that Sam was willing to fill the vacant seat for the recent British Open at very short notice and that he has pledged his immediate future to the band.

A spokesperson told 4BR: "Sam comes with a fine pedigree and has fitted in very well into what is becoming a very stable and talented group of players."
