The Stannington Band successfully defended their title at the Annual Brass Band Festival held at Clay Cross, Derbyshire at the weekend.
The event, celebrating its 50th year, is one of the longest running in the country, showcasing three bands who each performed a 20 minute entertainment programme.

Impressed
Stannington impressed the adjudicator with their versatile programme including pieces from classical with Rimsky Korsakov to film favourite's such as 'Pirates of the Caribbean'. They were presented with the T H Hallworth Challenge Trophy and a cheque for £400.
