Tameside Open moves to new venue

Next year's Tameside Open will be held at Dukinfield Town Hall on Sunday 29th March.

Due to the closure of the Tameside Hippodrome, the annual Tameside Open Brass Band Championships are to be moved to a new home at Dukinfield Town Hall on Sunday 29th March 2009.

Dukinfield Town Hall is minutes away from the previous venue but already plays host to the British Open and Solo Quartet Championships that will next take place on Sunday 2nd November.

March 18 • Tintwistle Band are looking for a 2nd euphonium and 2nd baritone player to help complete the team.. We rehearse Monday and Thursday 8-10pm at our own bandroom on Old Road in Tintwistle, and perform a variety of concerts all year round.
