Bolsover draw announced

Bolsover District Council announce the draw for the Bolsover Brass Band Entertainment Competition.

Bolsover District Council has announced the entry for the forthcoming Bolsover Brass Band Entertainment Contest.

The day will commence with the Unregistered Section where there are two entries.

Draw:
1. Burbage Silver Band
2. Worsbrough Brass.

The competition will be held on Sunday 5th October at the Kissingate Leisure Centre, Shirebook. Commencing at 10.30am4BR

This will be followed by the traditional 1st to 4th Section.

1st — 4th Section
The draw is:

1. Ireland Colliery Chesterfield Band
2. Strata Brass
3. Oughtibridge Brass Band
4. Hopkins Blidworth Welfare Band
5. Barnsley Building Society Band,
6. Yorkshire Co-op Band
7. Silk Brass Astra Zenica, Macclesfield
8. Stape Silver Band
9. Coppull & Standish Band

There have been two withdrawals from this section from Tintwistle Band and from Foresters Brass 2000.

Championship draw

The draw for the Championship Section Inter-County Challenge is:

1. Ratby Co-operative Band
2. Stocksbridge Band
3. Derwent Brass
4. United Co-op Crewe Band
5. United Co-op Milnrow Band

The competition will be held on Sunday 5th October at the Kissingate Leisure Centre, Shirebook. Commencing at 10.30am.
