St John's Mossley Band will be 75 years old next year and the band are planning a celebration.

St John's Church will be leading the united procession on Whit Friday and the band are calling ex-players to join them on the day.

They also intend to put on a concert in St John's Church on a Saturday night near to Whit Friday, followed by a party.
