Yorkshire Imperial (Urquhart Travel) Band has announced the appointment of Richard Evans as Musical Director for their assault on the Scottish Open Championships in Perth this November.

The band state they are looking forward to improving on their 4th placing last year, with this move signifying a clear statement of the bands intent.

Good memories

Richard told 4BR: "I only have good memories of working with the Imps since I last took them at the World Music Festival in Kerkrade. We were not only very successful achieving second place at the contest, but we had a super time too."
