Love certainly seems to be in the air at Fodens due to an extremely high number of recent weddings and engagements.

First up

Eb tuba Stewart Baglin was the first to commit at the end of December 2007 when he married Becky Jones (cornet player with Langley). After this Danny Baldwin (percussion) married Kerry Hendley (ex trombone at Leyland) in July 2008 as well as having baby James David Baldwin' in August.

Meanwhile, Alan Wycherley married Dr Sachi Uchida (composer) in July before Glyn Williams (euphonium) and Helen Fox (flugel horn) became husband and wife in August.

Engagements

Mark Wilkinson (cornet) became engaged to Megan Downing (tenor horn at Wingates) along with Mark Landon (percussion) to Katy Eglington, Shaun Hudson (euphonium) to Helen Geoghegan (euphonium at Haydock) and finally last week Les Neish (Eb bass) proposed to Debbie Andrews.
