Hepworth sign baritone star

Carole Crompton heads to Hepworth for British Open.

Baritone soloist Carole Crompton has signed for Hepworth (Cookson Homes) in readiness for their British Open appearance.

Respected

One of the countries most respected baritone players, Carole’s pedigree extends to a ten year period with Desford, including a hat-trick of National wins, four years with Fodens and subsequent spells with Ransomes, Sellers International and Faireys.

Band Manager Steve Hopwood told 4BR: "We are delighted to welcome Carole to the band, Carole brings a wealth of experience to the organisation and is highly regarded as a player and soloist."

Soloist

Carole has appeared as a soloist throughout Europe and Scandinavia, showcasing a number works written especially for her, the most recent having been written by Kenneth Downie.

Carole joins the Hepworth Band on solo baritone with immediate effect and commented to 4BR: "I am looking forward to working with the band and being part of this progressive and forward thinking organisation."

Harlow Brass Band
