The organisers of the most famous, and oldest brass band contest in the world have finally been able to gain a foothold into 21st century hyperspace, with the announcement of the launch of their brand new British Open website.

The site not only gives all the details of the contest to be held this year at Symphony Hall in Birmingham, but it also has a number of other features too, covering each of the contests of the Spring Festival, contest rules and an archive of British Open results.

The British Open organisers hope to expand the site over coming months to include extra features that will make it an invaluable resource for brass band lovers of the British Open all over the world.
