The Lydbrook Band is now having a well earned rest following a fairly busy summer engagement period.
Trio
However, come September it will be back to the “grindstone” with a vengeance as the band has engaged three very accomplished musicians to see them through the autumn series of events.
Ian Holmes, Director of the Centre for Performing Arts, University West of England, will be leading the band at the Wychavon Entertainments Contest in Pershore. This is Ian’s first appointment with Lydbrook.

Finally, in December Philip Harper will direct the band at their annual Christmas Concert. A spokesman for the band told 4BR: "We are all looking forward to working with Philip on our Christmas spectacular with the choir — it should be a great event."
