4BR across the globe

There may only have been five MPs interested in brass bands in the UK Parliament last night, but there seems to be plenty of interest across the world.

4BR

Following the Parliamentary debate last night in Westminster, when just five MPs appeared to turn up in the chamber to discuss the future of brass bands in the UK, perhaps they should have asked 4BR just how popular brass banding is across the globe.

Figures

Our most recent analytical analysis figures (websites can pay to get detailed figures from providers) show that people in 116 of the worlds 194 recognised countries have now accessed 4BR.

Many of the countries are the traditional strongholds of brass banding culture such as Australia and New Zealand, but others show increasing numbers in the United States of America, France, China and even India.

Meanwhile, some of the most obscure and less well known outposts of brass band interest in the past month has seen new readership from Tanzania, Vietnam, Guam, Syria, Cayman Islands and New Caledonia4BR
