Bactiguard Wire Brass have some clever and talented young players in their band it seems, and the band has taken the opportunity to offer their congratulations to some of the younger members of the band on their recent successes.

Degrees

Kim Thorp, solo euphonium, and James Hatton, assistant principal cornet, have recently been awarded their degrees in music from the prestigious Royal Northern College of Music.

Also, David Wood, the band’s second horn player has been accepted into the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain and will be joining them for their summer course in August.
