Eagley venture forward

The Eagley Band will be taking to the roads to get to Harrogate later this year.

The Eagley Band, following their major achievement at the Area contest in Blackpool this year, are in the full flow of fund-raising to get them to the National Finals in Harrogate.

Expensive venture

As it is such an expensive venture for a band which does not rely on sponsorship, there is a lot of hard work for them to do to pay for the weekend in October.

As part of their efforts, the band have had a sponsored bike ride and a number of other sponsored events4BR

Efforts

As part of their efforts, the band have had a sponsored bike ride and a number of other sponsored events and now they have arranged a Soloists Concert to feature major soloists and friends of the band from the Foden’s Richardson Band.

Looking forward

The band told 4BR that they are really looking forward to playing alongside Mark Wilkinson, Richard Poole, Les Neish and Mark Landon although they are not too sure about the long ride in the bike saddles!
