JMU set for Tour

The James Madison University Band is ready for their tour to the UK.

4BR has been informed that is all things are in place and set for the James Madison University Brass Band’s concert tour of England and Wales, which will take place between June 26th and July 7th.

Sharing

The band will be sharing the stage with many bands on their travels including Freckleton, the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama Brass Band, United Co-op Milnrow Band, Yorkshire Co-op Band, as well as the current British Open and Europan champion, Cory Band.

In addition to their performances, the group will have the opportunity to visit rehearsals of both the Foden’s Richardson Band and the Cory Band, and will enjoy a day of competition while attending the English National Brass Band Championship4BR

Contests

The band will also be competing in the Brighouse March and Hymn Tune contest at the end of their tour.
