Box Hill City band will be holding a Stage Band contest on Saturday 19 July at the Box Hill Town Hall.
As well as the usual School and Junior Stage band sections, there will be sections for other stage bands.
The rules are simple — 20 players plus percussion, and the performance of a 15 minute program to include three own choice items.
Bands are to set up in cabaret style, and the audience will be seated at tables.
This should be a great opportunity for bands to show their versatility.
Interested bands need to get cracking with their entries as they close this weekend.
