The Powerfuel Hatfield Colliery Band has announced that Mike Kilmartin is joining them on soprano cornet.

Mike played with the band at the recent Spring Festival Senior Trophy contest, where the band took top honours.

Looking forward

Mike has said how he is looking forward at playing in the Championship Section at the Yorkshire Area as it has always been one of his dreams.

The band members themselves aree very pleased that Mike is joining, whilst MD Graham O'Connor is very pleased with his decision, as he believes he will be an asset to the band.
