Skelmersdale on the up

After a hard few years, the Skelmersdale Prize Band finally look to be on the up again.

With the recent appointment of John Ludden as MD and with the signing of his wife, Joanne on Solo Horn, the Skelmersdale Prize Band are looking forward to a prosperous and successful future.

Feeder

The West Lancashire Youth Brass Band, which will eventually become a feeder band to the Skelmersdale Prize Band, has been up and running for 12 months now, under the leadership of Georgina Roberts.

The youth band hopes to promote brass banding within West Lancashire, and with another 10 children joining the band over the summer, it is proving to be a huge success4BR
