One of the most promising young composers for brass has been given a high profile opportunity to showcase his compositional wares this Wednesday.
Forest Symphony
Gavin Higgins, whose ‘Forest Symphony’ will be used as a set work at the 2009 National Youth Band Championships, will be one of just four of Britain’s leading young composer’s to have a short work performed by the London Philharmonic Orchestra at the Royal Festival Hall.
