Prairie Whistler

Champion Whistler off to blow in the Prairie lands of the USA...

Prairie

David Morris, World Champion Whistler and frequent soloist with many UK bands is off to Arlington Heights, Illinois this weekend where he will be performing with the Prairie Brass Band, under the direction of Dallas Niermeyer.

Sold out

The concert is part of the Community Arts Concert Series in this suburb Chicago city.

David was the soloist with the band in 2003 and sold out the house, so Dallas felt I was time to bring him back for another appearance in the community.

While his talent and his choice of musical instrument may be unique, his appeal to both audience and musicians alike is immediate and universalDallas Niermeyer

Sensitive

He told 4BR: "David possesses not only staggering technical facility but is also one of the most sensitive and expressive musical artists I’ve ever heard. While his talent and his choice of musical instrument may be unique, his appeal to both audience and musicians alike is immediate and universal. We are proud to have him with us again this year."

On Tuesday, April 29 David will be featured with the Southern Illinois University bands and wind ensemble in Edwardsville, Illinois, under the direction of Dr. John Bell.
