Mnozil Brass set for UK

The phenominal Mnozil Brass wil be in the UK next weekend for two concerts and a masterclass.

The septet, Mnozil Brass will be in the North of England over the Bank Holiday weekend performing in two concerts and a masterclass.

Uppermill and Barnsley

On Friday 2nd May, the group comprising of three trumpets, three trombones and a bass will perform at Uppermill Civic Hall in an event promoted by Diggle Band whilst the following day, they will perform at Emmanual Church in Barnsley

Free Masterclass

On Saturday afternoon, an audience made up of children and young people from Salford and Manchester, students from Salford University, members of the Halle Brass section and many local band musicians will be entertained by the members of Mnozil Brass when they present a workshop discussing the way they work and put together their fantastic programme of music for performance.

If you want to know what to expect, expect the unexpected but the opportunity to hear Mnozil Brass in concert or at the Masterclass is one not to be missed4BR

The event is part of a masterclass series that has over the last two years given young musicians from Salford and Manchester access to some of the most exciting musical talent the world has to offer and Mnozil will be no exception.

Strategic alliance

The Music Manifesto North West Partnership is a strategic alliance of four partners, The Halle Orchestra, Salford Music and Performing Arts Service, Manchester Music Service and the Greater Manchester Music Action Zone. They have over the last 2 years piloted innivotive ways of working together to expand the range of musical experiences for the young people of Manchester and Salford.

Ticket required for entry

The event takes place in The Peel Hall, Salford University on Saturday 3rd May from 1.00 p.m. to 3.00 p.m. Entrance is by ticket only and these have been provided free as funding has come from the Pathfinder Partnership.
