The organisers of the Spring Festival Contest and the Senior Trophy have confirmed that the query over the inclusion of the bass drum part has been resolved.

The additional bass drum part of the newer version of the piece must be played throughout, including the Elegy section. They also state that they confirm that there is a bar missing in the part – the 3rd bar after figure 14. That should now be played as a repeat of the previous bar.
