The crowd got into the spirit, joining in with rousing singing whenever they knew the words, and even ‘Sharky’ the team mascot joined in by trying to oust the conductor!
The management had seen a band playing at away matches in France, and they were keen to try this at Sale Sharks to improve the atmosphere in the ground and boost the morale of the crowd, and it certainly seemed to work as Sale Sharks stormed to a 49-24 win.
