Belmont Summer School

Belmont School Community Arts College to host free summer school.

Belmont School Community Arts College, Durham are once again offering brass and percussion players up to the age of 18 the chance to take part in their 2nd annual Brass Summer School.

The course will be held from Wednesday 27th to Friday 29th of August and is totally free for people wishing to attend.

Tutors

Tutoring will be provided by acclaimed and highly respected composer Bruce Fraser (advanced group), award winning cornet player Tina Mortimer (intermediate group) and local trombone star Keith Norris (beginners).

The course will culminate in an end of course concert and an appearance from a guest soloist, who will be accompanied by the students.

April 3 • We have vacancies for a trombone player and a bass player. Cleethorpes Band rehearse near the seafront on Thursday and Sunday evenings. Placed 3rd in the NOE 4th section. Other players are always welcome as we may be able to switch positions around
