Swedish Cutt

Garry Cutt will be making his Swedish conducting debut in April with the Swedish Windcorp Band in Grenaland, Norway!

Cutt

Foden Richardson MD Gary Cutt will conduct Windcorp Brass Band at the Grenland International Brass Festival (GIBF) in Norway at the end of April.

Solution

Since the band’s musical director Alexander Hanson was not able to take the band at the event due to work commitments, a solution was found where Garry would join the band the weekend before the contest.

This being the band’s first international contest it is very satisfying having such an experienced and successful conductor in front of the bandWindcorp Band

Successful

Chairman Andreas Kratz told 4BR: "This being the band’s first international contest it is very satisfying having such an experienced and successful conductor in front of the band.

The contest is very demanding, we will have to prepare a church music programme, a set test piece and an entertainment programme for the occasion, and to bring all this music together it takes skill. That’s why we contacted Garry."
