New blood required at BFBB — so why not go along and be a part?

The British Federation of Brass Bands (BFBB) is calling for new blood on its Executive Committee, which meets at the BFBB headquarters approximately 10 times per year.

Time and place

The election of the Executive Committee will take place at the BFBB’s Annual General meeting on Saturday 19 April, 2008 at the Thameside Theatre in Grays, Essex.

Anyone wishing to be elected onto the Executive Committee needs to be nominated by a member band or association member, with nominations being sent to the BFBB National Office in Barnsley by Friday 4 AprilBFBB

Agenda items

The BFBB also invites suggestions for agenda items and extends an open invitation for anyone to attend the AGM to express their concerns or support for the movement and in a bid to motivate change, using the national body of brass bands to help lobby such change.
