Welsh Champion signs tuba player ahead of Grand Shield and Masters challenge.

The new Welsh Regional Champion, Tredegar, has announced its first new signing since taking the title at Swansea a fortnight ago.

Gethin Rees joins on Eb tuba from Burry Port, as the band continues to strengthen its player ranks ahead of the Grand Shield and All England Masters contests. Gethin replaces Andy Jones who has stepped down due to continued work commitments.

We know we have plenty of hard work to put in with two very important contests coming up. Andy has been a great player for the band and we are pleased that he has agreed to stay on and give us an extra bass option too."
